| Wheels Within Wheels was released in 2003 by Strange Music Ltd. It was a long awaited acoustic compilation that Donal Gallagher put together. It has some awesome tracks never released before. "Lonesome Highway" was first recorded in 1975. It has an electric folk/rock feel, with lots of soft acoustic interplay. "Deep Elm Blues" and "The Cuckoo" were efforts where Rory collaborated with European Folk doyan Roland van Campenhout in a jam at the Ghent Festival in the late 70's. Rory also does a rollicking version of "Goin' To My Hometown" with one of his favorite artists, Lonnie Donegan. |
